Job Summary
Support daily apartment community operations alongside the Community Manager, delivering exceptional customer service to current and prospective residents. Build positive relationships with residents while resolving concerns professionally, and assist with leasing activities including tours, lease preparation, and move-in coordination. Process rent payments, manage delinquency, and support retention initiatives while maintaining accurate resident files and lease documentation. Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure prompt service completion and assist with vendor coordination, invoice processing, and administrative responsibilities. Utilize Microsoft Office, Yardi Voyager, and CRM software to manage daily tasks and ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws. Work independently while collaborating effectively with the onsite team to maintain a professional leasing office and support marketing and community engagement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of Assistant Community Manager or property management experience in the multifamily industry
- Strong knowledge of multifamily leasing and property management operations
- Excellent customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities while maintaining accuracy and professionalism
- Experience collecting rent, managing delinquency, renewals, and lease administration
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Experience with Yardi Voyager
- Experience with CRM systems
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the onsite team
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to delivering an outstanding resident experience
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Knowledge of Fair Housing laws
