APAC Payments Operations Control Management – Vice President

Job Summary
Lead the development and execution of an enhanced control framework supporting continuous risk assessment and integrated risk analysis. Drive top-down risk analysis, strengthen control monitoring, and manage timely detection, escalation, root-cause analysis, and remediation of control issues. Deliver end-to-end execution of the Risk and Control Self-Assessment, identify control gaps, and resolve them through stakeholder alignment. Analyze key risk and performance indicators to inform business strategies and reduce regulatory exposure. Partner with senior stakeholders across operations, legal, compliance, risk, audit, regulators, and technology to influence outcomes and improve governance. Provide clear updates to senior management for prioritization and resource decisions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the financial services industry
- Demonstrated understanding of payments products, business, and operations
- Strong knowledge of risk and control management concepts, including designing and executing a Risk and Control Self-Assessment with business partners
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, including the ability to present clearly to senior stakeholders
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience aligning across diverse, senior partners
- Ability to analyze and interpret program data, including key risk indicators and key performance indicators
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio)

- Demonstrated people leadership experience with a track record of developing and mentoring talent
