Job Summary
Markets Product Controller – Associate in APAC (Sydney, Australia) responsible for daily P&L and risk reporting for the APAC Rates desk, month-end close, balance sheet integrity, and external reporting. Collaborates with middle office, technology, and Quantitative Research to ensure accurate P&L/Risk, provides commentary on back-testing results, and supports valuation adjustments and FX exposure management. Partners with global teams across APAC, EMEA, and NA to ensure regulatory and internal control standards are met, and contributes to governance around risk and finance processes. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Business, 5+ years in product control or related finance roles, and proficiency in risk/revenue reporting, with VBA and strong Excel/database skills as a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related area
- 5+ years of experience in Product Control or similar role in Markets/Financial Services
- 3+ years of experience with comprehensive P&L reporting, risk concepts, FX exposure management, and linking risk groups
- Strong analytical, communication, and spreadsheet/database skills
