Job Summary
Teach four AP World History and World History classes, developing daily lessons aligned with AP curricula in collaboration with department colleagues and leadership. Uphold high academic and behavioral expectations for students while providing targeted support. Participate actively in Match's coaching and professional development programming and assist with school programming during non-instructional time. Serve as a positive and collaborative member of the Match Charter Public School community. Join the faculty for the 2026-2027 school year at our Brighton campus in Boston, MA.
Required Qualifications
- at least two years of full-time experience as classroom or special education teacher
- preferably in an urban education setting
- hold a valid and appropriate license issued by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education
- obtain the licensure within a year of date of hire
- believe that all students can and will succeed
- have a desire to continually improve their practice as a teacher by taking and implementing feedback
- have a proven record of student success and achievement
- demonstrate an ability to work well on a team
- willingness to support others in doing their best work
