Job Summary
Process all invoices for the Mississippi product, reconcile credit card monthly statements, and ensure accurate payment in accordance with company policies. Analyze invoice and expense reports to charge expenses to correct accounts and cost centers, while maintaining professional vendor rapport to resolve discrepancies. Prepare and post daily, monthly, and year-end journal entries, assist in month-end accrual estimations, and manage intercompany billings and reconciliations. Update accounting files, prepare audit schedules, and support ERP testing and invoice approval workflow training. This hybrid role in Woodland Hills, CA requires Monday and Thursday office attendance plus one additional weekday. Candidates need 4+ years in Accounts Payable, a Bachelor's degree, and proficiency in MS Excel and general ledger systems.
Required Qualifications
- At least 4+ years of experience in Accounts Payable
- Efficient and organized
- Motivated self-starter with ability to think outside the box when problem solving
- Working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP formulas), and general ledger system
- General math skills
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- Excellent work habits, including a willingness to work the hours necessary to get the job done
- Ability to work in teams with keen attention to details
- Must be able to adhere to our hybrid work policy, working from our office Monday and Thursday plus one additional weekday on a weekly basis
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamix 365 is a plus
