Job Summary
Initiate supplier master data processes, reconcile AP subledgers with general ledgers, and prepare payment requests based on due dates and company policies. Compare invoices to purchase orders and receipts for accuracy before entry into the ERP system, ensuring proper approvals prior to initiating electronic payments via the bank website. Process Concur travel and credit card expense activity, maintain filing and storage of records, and assist with annual Form 1099 processes. This role supports Fathom's digital manufacturing platform, which blends additive technologies, CNC machining, and design engineering across ten facilities to serve clients in technology, defense, aerospace, and medical sectors.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma and equivalent combination of secondary education and experience
- At least two years of accounts payable experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to work with agings, imports, exports, reconciliations, and other accounts payable reporting needs
- Familiarity with accounts payable banking practices, including NACHA, bank imports and exports, electronic payment setup, and Excel-based aging analysis
- Ability to manage competing priorities and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Thorough understanding of accounts payable functions
- Excellent analytical skills
