AP - Press Brake Operator (relocate to New Zealand)

Job Summary
Operate and set Durma and LVD CNC Press Brakes, reading engineering drawings to produce sheet metal components to required specifications. Set up machines with correct tooling and production settings while using the ERP system to support smooth production workflows and job tracking. Inspect finished work for accuracy, quality, and finish, maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area. Follow LEAN manufacturing principles and established production procedures. This afternoon shift role (2:30pm–11:30pm, four days per week) is based in New Zealand for an international project, offering valuable overseas experience within a supportive team focused on employee wellbeing.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read and understand engineering/technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Understanding of LEAN manufacturing principles
- Ability to work independently and as part of a production team
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience operating CNC Press Brakes is highly preferred
- Experience with Durma and/or LVD Press Brakes is an advantage
- Experience working with an ERP system is an advantage
