Prepare learners for the AP German exam by conducting practice tests, providing detailed feedback, and using role-plays to build fluency. Track student progress via regular assessments and communicate performance updates to students and parents. Manage virtual classrooms using platforms like Zoom and Google Classroom, maintaining accurate grading records and troubleshooting technical issues.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in German, Education or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching German
- Prior experience with online teaching platforms and digital classroom management
- Native or near-native proficiency in German with strong grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation skills
- Deep understanding of the AP German exam format, scoring criteria and strategies for student success
- Excellent communication skills
- Reliable internet connection
- Computer with a webcam and microphone
- Comfort with online tools and platforms for remote instruction
