Job Summary
Remotely teach AP English Language and Composition to a small class of students, delivering 2–3 hours of live instruction weekly. Guide learners through synthesis, rhetorical analysis, argument essays, and the multiple-choice section using your own proven methods within the official AP Course and Exam Description. Craft engaging asynchronous learning activities and assignments to ensure students complete all course content. Utilize the LMS, College Board resources, and Zoom to deliver lessons. This part-time, fully remote role supports Polaris Global Academy's mission to help ambitious students achieve big academic goals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Direct experience teaching AP English Language and Composition
- Strong working knowledge of College Board scoring rubrics and exam format for AP English Language and Composition
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree
- Experience teaching AP English Language and Composition in a virtual/online setting
