Conduct interactive live AP Chemistry classes online via Zoom, covering topics such as atomic structure, bonding, kinetics, and thermodynamics. Regularly assess student performance, offer constructive feedback, and share study resources to foster critical thinking and scientific reasoning. Requires a Bachelor's or Master's in Chemistry, two years of AP teaching experience, and a professional home studio setup. Flexible schedule with competitive compensation based on performance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry or related field (Physical, Organic, or Inorganic)
- 2+ years of experience teaching AP Chemistry or equivalent high school chemistry
- In-depth knowledge of AP Chemistry syllabus and College Board exam patterns
- Strong communication and explanation skills, especially in a virtual classroom setting
- Ability to make complex topics accessible and engaging for students
- Stable internet connection and a quiet, professional home studio setup
- Familiarity with Zoom, audio interfaces, and digital teaching aids
- Proficiency in using online collaborative tools (e.g., virtual whiteboard, PDF annotations, screen sharing, etc.)
