Job Summary
Oversee daily department workflows from invoice receipt to final payment execution, ensuring compliance with Massachusetts sales and use tax regulations. Manage year-end 1099 tax reporting and perform critical month-end close reporting, financial analysis, and general ledger reconciliations. Identify system efficiencies, update standard operating policies, and serve as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting system errors and resolving vendor escalated queries. Requires 5 to 10 years of progressive accounts payable experience and proficiency in Oracle Accounts Payable systems. Full-time position in Hingham with a salary range of $75,330.00 - $92,070.00.
Required Qualifications
- 5 to 10 years of progressive business, financial, or high-volume accounts payable experience
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Finance, Accounting, Business, or equivalent practical experience
- Demonstrated hands-on experience using Oracle Accounts Payable systems
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically with Excel and Access
- Familiarity with Massachusetts sales/use tax rules and IRS 1099 compliance regulations
- Excellent communication skills
- A high level of professional integrity
- The ability to manage competing priorities
- High school degree or equivalent required unless otherwise noted above
