Job Summary
The AP Account Manager will oversee accounts payable operations while supporting general accounting functions. Duties include managing the payment cycle, vendor relations, and compliance with internal controls. The candidate should have strong organizational skills and at least 5 years of experience in AP.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Proven experience (5+ years) in accounts payable or a similar financial role
- Strong understanding of AP processes, financial reporting, and internal controls
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
- High attention to detail and accuracy in processing financial data
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with vendors and internal teams
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
- Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance related to accounts payable
- Strong Excel skills for data analysis and reporting
