AOMC Sitter - ED - Full Time - Nights

Provide continuous observation to patients to maintain safety in accordance with their care plan and under the direction of a professional nurse. Monitor verbalizations, immediately inform the nurse of any intent to harm self/others or leave without permission, and refer patients to staff for care questions. Accompany patients for clinical tests while maintaining arm's length distance, feed patients upon RN delegation, and adjust restraints only in emergencies or per RN instruction. Remain in the patient's room with an unobstructed view unless instructed otherwise or RN-approved, and promptly report any equipment defects or sudden changes in patient condition. Requires BLS CPR within 90 days of hire; full-time nights shift.
