Job Summary
AOI Operator I inspects product runs on the SMT line using Automated Optical Inspection equipment, ensures ESD and MSD handling compliance, verifies workmanship and AOI program adherence, and communicates defects for program improvement. Supports ISO standards and 6S objectives, follows established procedures, and assists/ trains other employees. Typically requires little to no experience and may involve handling multiple tasks with a high level of complexity; strong judgment and a broad knowledge of operational procedures are valued.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience preferred
- Experience with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office
- Experience with ISO9000n or AS9100 is a plus
- Pass IPC-A-610 Modules 1-8 and J-STD-001 Module 1 and 6 as needed
- Ability to support a minimum of 2 customer products while maintaining quality and production standards
