Job Summary
AOG Technician (GA / Turboprop Aircraft) responsible for performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on aircraft in an AOG environment. Read and interpret manuals and service bulletins, perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical discrepancies, remove/replace components, document work, and maintain safety and quality standards. Requires the ability to work independently in high-pressure, time-sensitive environments, travel as needed for AOG assignments, and provide own tools. Strong communication, adaptability, dependability, and teamwork are essential, with FAA-regulatory compliance and attention to detail emphasized.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license
- Minimum 3+ years of aircraft maintenance experience
- Experience on general aviation and/or turboprop aircraft
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Strong knowledge of GA and turboprop aircraft systems
- Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals and technical documentation
- Ability to travel as required for AOG assignments
- Must provide own tools
