Job Summary
Perform complex aircraft inspections, maintenance, and repairs of moderate to advanced complexity on aircraft systems and structures under minimal supervision. Execute tasks in accordance with work scope requirements, adhering to established quality standards and utilizing appropriate technical documentation. Coordinate with other departments to ensure compliance with internal and FAA inspection and documentation requirements while properly completing work order sign-offs and paperwork. Ensure all work accomplished meets quality standards and specifications. This role supports HSGI, Inc.'s staffing of qualified technical employees to reputable aerospace companies across the United States and abroad.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- FAA Mechanics Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant Rating.
- Read and interpret aircraft diagrams, charts and schematics.
- Lift up to 50 lbs.
- Not allergic to fuels, oils, hydraulic fluids and cleaning solvents.
- Ability to work and bend in confined work space.
- Manual dexterity required for technician.
- Ability to repeatedly enter and exit aircraft using stationary steps/stairs.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience on Dassault Falcon Jet, Gulfstream, Citation, Bombardier, Lear Jet, Challenger, Global Express, Hawker Beechcraft, Embraer, etc.
- Knowledgeable and experienced using computers and aircraft software.
- Successful completion of at least one (1) Maintenance School.
- Engine Run and Taxi qualified on business jet aircraft, preferably on Dassault Falcon Jet, Gulfstream, Citation, Bombardier, Lear Jet, Challenger, Global Express, Hawker Beechcraft, Embraer, etc. aircraft.
