Job Summary
AOG Aircraft Mechanic needed to perform high-quality, rapid-response maintenance on a diverse fleet of corporate and general aviation aircraft at Savannah/Hilton Head Airport. You will troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair aircraft systems, read and interpret technical manuals, and ensure work orders are completed accurately in a fast-paced AOG environment. Must hold a valid A&P certificate with at least 3 years of general aviation maintenance experience and hands-on experience with Garmin 3000/5000 avionics; expect to work on Bombardier Challenger/Global, Embraer Phenom/Praetor/Legacy, Gulfstream, Cessna Latitude, Falcon, Learjet, and Hawker airframes. Requires ability to lift up to 70 lbs, work at heights up to 40 feet with fall protection, and pass a background check for SIDA access. Schedule: 7 days on, 7 days off; competitive pay with benefits and opportunities for additional earnings.
Required Qualifications
- Valid A&P Certificate
- Minimum of 3 years general aviation maintenance experience
- At least 1 year hands-on experience with Bombardier Challenger/Global or Embraer Phenom/Praetor/Legacy or Cessna Latitude
- Hands-on experience with Garmin 3000 and/or Garmin 5000 avionics suites
- Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams, and parts catalogs
- Strong troubleshooting and FAA-approved repair capabilities
- Professional communication and teamwork
- Independent and reliable work ethic
- Comfort with use of computers (MSOffice)
- Physical ability to work on elevated platforms up to 40 feet with fall protection
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
- Background check for unescorted access to SIDA areas
