Job Summary
Conduct participant screenings, intakes, and orientations while supporting group facilitation and engagement under supervision. Provide supportive counseling to help individuals stay involved in treatment, maintain professional boundaries, and ensure a recovery-focused environment. Prepare draft documentation for review, including progress notes and treatment updates, and complete all records in real time to support billing accuracy and compliance. Participate in team meetings to contribute to coordinated care. Work the NOC shift from 10:00 pm to 6:30 am, 40 hours per week. This entry-level role supports early recovery stages for individuals with Substance Use Disorder at CLARE|MATRIX's Southern California facilities.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Credentialed as a Registered Alcohol and other Drug Technician (RADT) under a certifying body
- Enrolled in or beginning required SUD coursework
- Completion of 80 hours of SUD education within 6 months of the effective date of RADT credential
- Emotional maturity
- Resilience
- Interpersonal skills required to engage respectfully and effectively with individuals in recovery
- Ability to support group dynamics in a diverse treatment community
- Ability to perform each essential function, with or without reasonable accommodation
