Job Summary
Lead enterprise antivirus operations for the SEC environment, including day-to-day deployment and configuration of antivirus software across SEC workstations and servers, centralized policy administration, and Microsoft Defender engine updates. Manage centralized antivirus platforms and orchestrate policy changes, support pre-production testing and rollout, and maintain SOPs/runbooks and baseline configurations. Provide escalated incident troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and coordination with SEC support teams; monitor metrics, ensure compliance with security policies, change control, and audit readiness; contribute to zero-trust initiatives and automation enhancements. Desired skills include experience with Intune, endpoint management, ServiceNow ticketing, and certifications such as Security+, MD-102, and SC-200. Location is Washington, DC metropolitan area (on-site with telework as directed).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering
- Minimum 8 years of experience in enterprise antivirus software solutions
- 7-10 years of related experience managing and leading support of enterprise antivirus solutions
- Experience using centralized antivirus management platforms (e.g., enterprise policy orchestration tools)
- Experience deploying, configuring, and sustaining antivirus controls for workstation and server endpoints
- Experience with Microsoft Defender security intelligence and engine update lifecycle management
- Experience with centralized policy/orchestration management consoles
- Experience with ServiceNow-based ticketing, escalation workflows, and SLA performance reporting
- Ability to obtain and maintain SEC Public Trust or higher if required
- Must meet contract requirements for citizenship/work authorization
- Willingness for on-site work at SEC facilities with approved telework as directed by contract
