Job Summary
Provide psychological consultation, intervention, assessment, counseling, and educational support. Duties include consulting with parents and staff, counseling students, evaluating needs for behavioral interventions, supervising interns, conducting student evaluations, and participating in professional development and IEP meetings. Requires effective communication skills and a commitment to professional standards.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate/Master’s degree from an accredited university with an emphasis in school psychology, educational psychology, or related field
- Valid TSBEP Licensure as School Psychologist
- Minimum one year experience providing psychological services in a school setting (internship/year of supervision included)
- Consultation, counseling, and assessment experience
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to deliver psychological services in a comprehensive delivery model
- Knowledge in Special Education service delivery
- Effective/efficient oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work with school and community populations
- General knowledge of computer systems and software applications
