Job Summary
Provide nursing care for elementary students in a part-time, 10-month school setting; perform pediatric health assessments, triage illnesses/trauma, respond quickly during emergencies and evacuations, collaborate with school staff, support students with chronic/acute conditions and those with special needs, and participate in field trips and summer work as needed; requires RN license, NJ School Nurse certification or eligibility, CPR-AED, and BS degree; duties align with Fort Lee Public Schools health services.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Current Registered Nurse License
- NJ DOE School Nurse Certification or ability to obtain Emergency School Nurse Certification
- Current CPR-AED Certification
- Experience working with elementary and high school-aged children in Grades PK-12
