Job Summary
Custodian Rover performs custodial tasks under the supervision of Buildings and Grounds Foreman to maintain a clean and safe learning environment. Duties include cleaning and dusting classrooms, sanitizing bathrooms and cafeterias, cleaning walkways, snow removal, and other tasks assigned by the Foreman. Requires effective communication and a Black Seal license within one year; high school diploma or equivalent required. Hours: Tuesday–Saturday, 3:00 pm–11:00 pm. Full-time position with district-wide responsibilities; benefits include medical, prescription, dental, tuition reimbursement, and pension eligibility under SBSMA.
Required Qualifications
- Must have high school diploma or equivalent
- Custodial experience preferred, especially in a school setting
- Must obtain a Black Seal license within a year
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally
