Job Summary
Library Media Specialist expected to manage the Library Media Center and LMP activities, oversee LMC resources and circulation, develop and implement an effective LMP aligned with Responsive Education Solutions, assist staff and students with LMC technology and AV equipment, organize materials, maintain catalog and budgets, collaborate with teachers to integrate library resources into instruction, and promote information literacy and self-directed learning while traveling as needed. Must have a Bachelor's degree and a valid Arkansas teaching certificate and state LMS certification; a Master’s degree in Educational Technology or Library Science is preferred, with 3-5 years of LMP/LMC experience in public or charter schools advantageous.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and valid State of Arkansas teaching certificate
- State certification as a school LMS
- Master’s Degree in Educational Technology, Master of Library Science, or comparable degree, preferred
- advanced knowledge of State of Arkansas LMP requirements
