Job Summary
K-3 Autistic Support Teacher responsible for direct instruction and supervision of students with diverse learning needs; plan, coordinate, and implement district-wide instructional initiatives; maintain current PA certification and uphold classroom management, behavior support, and collaboration with families; participate in curriculum development and reporting on student progress; provide referrals to counseling and health services as needed. Role requires strong special education foundation, inclusive practices, and ability to foster a structured, supportive environment to promote student independence and success. 193 instructional days per year at Roundtown Elementary School in York, PA; salary range $60,083-$102,399; benefits available from start of employment.
Required Qualifications
- Appropriate PA Certification for all areas of assignment
- Pedagogical skills to develop instructional program
- Valid PA Criminal, PA Child Abuse and FBI Criminal History Background Checks within the last 12 months
