Anticipated - Instructional Aide - Kindergarten

Assist teacher with implementation of lesson plans for group and/or individual instruction; provide one-on-one instruction; read to students; listen to students read; monitor student completion of assignments; work with small groups to reinforce taught skills; work with individual and/or small groups to review taught material for remediation/extension of instruction; assist students in completing assignments during the school day; provide more immediate feedback to students; assist in incorporating adaptive strategies in the classroom to meet individual student learning styles; monitor and adjust individual student as well as classroom behavior as appropriate; assist the teacher in developing learning centers and learning activity packets, correcting papers, filing materials, duplicating and distributing materials to students, updating bulletin boards; monitor and supervise children in various settings including lunch, recess and small group learning activities; perform such other duties as assigned by the building principal or designee; notes: location is Spring Grove Elementary School; position is part-time; requires confidentiality and ability to work cooperatively within a team; adherence to ADA accommodations as needed.
