Job Summary
Lead all aspects of the Thrall Girls Basketball Program at Thrall High School, with a year-round focus on player development, culture, discipline, and competitiveness. Teach or supervise in High School History or High School Business/Marketing as part of the teaching field, with a secondary sport assigned based on fit. Build strong relationships with student-athletes, staff, parents, and the community; collaborate with coaches and administration to align athletic and academic success; ensure compliance with UIL, district, and campus expectations; promote leadership, accountability, and character development in student-athletes.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Texas teaching certification (or ability to obtain)
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Commitment to developing the whole student-athlete
- Previous coaching experience preferred
- CDL preferred or willingness to obtain
