Job Summary
Teach high school students in a self-contained special education setting, implementing instruction and assessments per the Indiana Department of Education and Clarksville Community School Corporation. Responsibilities include following curriculum and models, communicating student performance to stakeholders, monitoring and documenting learning data, implementing IEPs and facilitating IEP meetings, adhering to school and board policies, managing classroom operations and attendance/grade reporting, and complying with state and federal special education laws and related policies. Also perform other duties as assigned by administration.
Required Qualifications
- Appropriate License issued by the State of Indiana to teach Special Education
- preferred certification in Mild and Intense Intervention in Indiana
