Anticipated Elementary Classroom Teacher

Anticipated Elementary Classroom Teacher responsible for delivering instruction in all subject areas to General Education students in the Harrison Township School District. The role requires NJ teacher certification (K-5, K-6, K-8), and is a full-time tenure-track position for the 2026-2027 school year. Responsibilities include designing developmentally appropriate learning experiences aligned with New Jersey Student Learning Standards (NJSLS), supporting students’ intellectual, social, emotional, and physical development, applying culturally responsive teaching practices, instructional planning (long- and short-term), using diverse assessment strategies to inform instruction, differentiating for diverse learners, fostering effective verbal, nonverbal, and written communication, building partnerships with families and the broader community, collaborating with professional colleagues, upholding school rules and policies, and supervising students during the workday.
