Job Summary
Provide safe and efficient transportation for students as the sole operator of a school bus; meet Ohio requirements, follow traffic laws, perform PTI prior to routes, attend driver meetings, perform fueling and bus cleaning, manage rider conduct, and relay discipline concerns to transportation leadership. Requires a High School diploma or equivalent, Ohio Class B CDL with School Bus and Passenger endorsements, clean driving record with limited points, annual T-8 physical, and demonstrated reliability and ethical conduct. Full-time position; hours reflect district contract days with benefits eligibility.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ohio Class B CDL license with School Bus and Passenger endorsement
- Insurable with not more than four points on the license
- Pass a T-8 physical yearly
- High moral character and good attendance
- Aptitude for tasks assigned
