Job Summary
Custodian role responsible for cleaning classrooms, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas to maintain a clean and safe school environment; ensure proper sanitation and waste disposal; assist with setup and breakdown of furniture and equipment for school events; perform seasonal tasks; collaborate with staff and work independently or as part of a team; requires physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects; must obtain state and federal clearances (PA Child Abuse, PA Criminal Background, FBI Fingerprint).
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior custodial experience (preferred but not required)
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects, stand/walk for extended periods, and perform physical labor
- Basic knowledge of cleaning equipment and supplies
- Must obtain necessary clearances, including PA Child Abuse, PA Criminal Background, and FBI Fingerprint clearances.
