Job Summary
Execute complex risk-based transaction testing for AML compliance, validating adherence to the Bank Secrecy Act, USA PATRIOT ACT, and PCMLTFA under a team leader. Develop and refine test plans while analyzing data from multiple sources to document results in the FUSE system. Review peer test executions for accuracy, suggest improvements to testing methodologies, and support internal audits and regulatory exams. Establish relationships with Compliance Advisors and Business Areas to enhance data sourcing and reporting protocols. This role supports the second line of defense in ensuring enterprise-wide regulatory requirements are met across applicable lines of business.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent Certification
- At least 2 years of Compliance Testing, Compliance Monitoring, Quality Assurance, Audit Experience, AML investigation, or Fraud Investigation experience
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years of Compliance Testing, Compliance Monitoring, Quality Assurance, Audit Experience, AML investigation, or Fraud Investigation experience
- Strong working knowledge of both US and Canadian laws and regulations as they relate to AML and Sanctions
- Strong working knowledge of Suspicious Activity Report (SAR), Currency Transaction Report (CTR), and/or Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) filing requirements
- Strong problem-solving and conceptual thinking skills
- Strong communication skills
- Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists (ACAMS), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), or Certified Financial Crime Specialists (CFCS) Certification
