Job Summary
The Antepartum/Postpartum RN position is a part-time role requiring 48 hours bi-weekly from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. Responsibilities include providing independent patient care in a Family Center, conducting patient assessments, implementing care plans, and educating patients and families. The role involves leadership duties, participation in quality improvement activities, and effective communication with the healthcare team. Candidates must hold an Associates degree in Nursing and be licensed as an RN in Maryland, with BLS certification and other specific certifications required within set timeframes.
Required Qualifications
- Eligible for or currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in State of Maryland or compact state
- Associates degree in Nursing required
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelors of Science in Nursing preferred or willing to obtain within 5 years of employment
- BLS certification
- NRP certification upon hire or within 90 days of employment
- C-EFM certification upon hire or within 1 year of employment
