Job Summary
Antenna Test Engineer sought to design RF test equipment for factory phased array testing, integrate new equipment, develop test software and data analysis tools, troubleshoot RF issues on advanced antenna systems, and collaborate with design engineering to improve hardware and test processes. Will support root-cause/corrective actions, analyze data for early trends, and travel up to 25%. Requires a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering (or related STEM) with 2+ years (or Master’s with 1+ years) of relevant experience; active U.S. Secret Clearance with SAP eligibility; U.S. citizenship; and no relocation requirement. Primary responsibilities include RF test equipment design, software development for testing automation, and integration of new test programs in a state-of-the-art factory environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM discipline plus 2+ years of relevant experience; or Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM discipline plus 1+ years of relevant experience
- For Level 3: Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM discipline plus 5+ years of relevant experience; or Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM discipline plus 3+ years of relevant experience
- Experience with electrical and/or RF test equipment (oscilloscopes, power meter, spectrum analyzer, signal generator, etc.)
- Professional software development experience using languages such as C#, Visual Basic, MATLAB, MATLAB/MAte etc.
- Current, active U.S. Government Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain SAP
- U.S. citizenship
- Preferred Qualifications: Software development experience with RF and antenna systems; Test development experience in nearfield/compact antenna range; RF test/antenna range experience; Familiarity with RF/antenna theory; Current active SAP clearance
