Job Summary
Design new reflector antennas, microwave waveguide feed components, and printed circuit phased array antennas while developing beamforming architectures for electronically or mechanically steered systems. Lead the full subsystem design lifecycle from concept to final testing, fielding, and support, including creating test procedures, analyzing performance metrics like G/T and EIRP, and operating near-field test ranges. Conceptualize new products from a communication system perspective, generate engineering BOMs, drawings, and specifications, and develop job proposals with cost estimates. Coordinate and manage multiple projects across Systems, Electrical, Mechanical, and Industrial disciplines, liaising with customers, vendors, and production to ensure delivery of compliant antennas.
Required Qualifications
- US Citizen
- Minimum ABET accredited Engineering graduate (BSEE)
- Minimum Ten years of Antenna Design preferably in Satellite Communications Industry
- Demonstrated experience in managing development and production projects
- Strong computer and analytical skills with proficiency in one or more of the following: HFSS, CST, TICRA GRASP, TICRA CHAMP, MATLAB, LabVIEW, ORCAD, Altium
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
