Job Summary
Antenna Production Engineer responsible for maintaining and evolving antenna and radar test/measurement instruments, ensuring uptime to support production targets, identifying upgrades, and supporting facility expansions. Collaborates with manufacturing as SMEs to scale Echodyne’s antenna production, working in an operational environment with potential time-pressure to meet targets. Requires hands-on RF/antenna measurement, data analysis of measurements (pattern, side-lobes, near/far field), and coding for analysis. Emphasis on building, experimentation, and contributing to safety/security mission; export-controlled process may require U.S. citizenship/green card or asylum status. Required Qualifications
- BS Degree or higher in Engineering or Physics
- 2 or more years of experience in antennas or antenna-measurement
- Understanding of fundamentals of antennas and antenna measurement
- Hands-on experience measuring antennas or radiating RF devices at microwave and/or millimeter-wave frequencies
- Experience performing data analysis for measurement/experiments (pattern analysis, side-lobes, near/far field transformations)
- Some experience writing code for analysis, applications, or projects
