Job Summary
Design, develop, and implement automation solutions using Ansible for Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments, creating and maintaining playbooks, roles, and workflows. Support system configuration, provisioning, patching, and operational tasks while troubleshooting and optimizing existing automation. Collaborate with technical teams to assess requirements, provide technical guidance, and facilitate knowledge transfer to customer teams. Assist with adoption and integration of Red Hat automation technologies. This senior-level consulting engagement involves an 8-week onboarding period followed by a 1000-hour commitment with potential extension, requiring drug screening.
Required Qualifications
- Senior-level experience supporting Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments
- Strong hands-on experience with Ansible automation
- Experience developing and managing Ansible playbooks and roles
- Experience with Linux system administration and enterprise infrastructure environments
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide customer-facing technical support
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Remote position
- 1000-hour consulting engagement with potential for extension
- Drug screening required
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform (AAP)
- Red Hat certifications such as RHCSA, RHCE, or Red Hat Certified Specialist in Ansible Automation
- Experience with automation in large-scale enterprise or government environments
- Experience supporting cloud or hybrid infrastructure environments
