Ansible Automation Engineer

Job Summary
Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions using Ansible and Terraform across Linux, cloud, and infrastructure platforms. Build scalable frameworks for provisioning, configuration management, and deployments while automating processes on Red Hat, OpenShift, Azure, AWS, and GCP. Collaborate with Infrastructure, DevOps, and Engineering teams to identify automation opportunities, troubleshoot workflows, and optimize pipelines. Create and maintain technical documentation and standards to support enterprise modernization initiatives in a hybrid cloud environment. Work independently in a non-customer-facing setting to reduce manual operational work through repeatable, scalable solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with Ansible (AAP, playbooks, roles, modules, automation workflows)
- Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Linux administration experience, including: Red Hat Enterprise Linux, OpenShift
- Experience supporting cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Scripting experience with: YAML, Python
- Experience supporting infrastructure automation, configuration management, and deployment automation
- Strong documentation and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a highly technical, non-customer-facing environment

- CI/CD pipeline experience
- GitOps methodologies
- Docker and Kubernetes exposure
- Security automation or compliance-focused infrastructure experience
