Anodizing Supervisor

Job Summary
Supervise the anodizing process to ensure finished product quality and effective raw material management while optimizing equipment use and maintaining productivity. Develop controls and metrics for material and labor usage, using operating indicators to control product cost and machine downtime. Manage a staff of 25-50 hourly employees by conducting performance evaluations, managing hiring and terminations, and fostering team motivation through coaching and mentoring. Ensure compliance with financial, legal, regulatory, and environmental requirements, including safety policies to reduce OSHA incident rates to zero. Provide leadership coverage in the absence of the Operations Manager and present to senior-level audiences. Requires a Bachelor's degree, 5 years of operational leadership experience, and proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in management, engineering, or a relevant field
- Minimum of 5 years of operational leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Manage a staff of 25-50 hourly employees
- Conducted performance evaluations and pay reviews and managed hiring and terminations
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills

- Ability to diagnose and solve process issues
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with the Plant leadership team
- Demonstrated ability to lead change and implement continuous improvement
- Knowledge of SAP or ERP systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Physical ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 pounds
- Minimal travel required (0-10 days per year)
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to cold, heat, high noise levels, moving mechanical parts, heights, dust, mist, gas fumes, extensive walking or climbing
