Job Summary
Teach assigned physics courses as scheduled and assume primary responsibility for the curriculum in conjunction with department policies; design and support a range of learning activities that address individual student needs; use technology to enhance instruction and maintain accurate records of grades and attendance; create and maintain syllabi; employ assessment techniques to measure student learning; facilitate learning in a digital environment; maintain posted office hours and engage students to foster a supportive learning community; participate in curriculum development, instructional materials improvement, and departmental/college committees; contribute to professional development and adhere to credentialing/continuing education requirements. Minimum education required is a Master’s degree in Physics with at least one year of college-level physics teaching experience in a laboratory setting; must have a State Motor Vehicle Operator's License or ability to gain access to work site(s).
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Physics
- One (1) year of experience teaching college level physics with a laboratory component
- Licenses and Certifications State Motor Vehicle Operator's License or demonstrable ability to gain access to work site(s)
