Job Summary

Annual Giving Officer responsible for implementing strategic annual giving initiatives across the Academy Fund and College Fund. Collaborates with the Director of Philanthropy to establish annual solicitation plans, including direct mail, email, social media, giving day campaigns, and crowdfunding. Manages prospect and volunteer activities, oversees Reunion Giving programs, and uses constituent data to target donors and upgrade giving levels. Works with Major Gift officers to secure matching-gift challenges, oversees donor communications in partnership with Marketing, and produces reports on annual giving metrics using database tools. Requires experience in nonprofit fundraising, donor cultivation, alumnae engagement, and comfort with Raiser's Edge or similar fundraising software; strong communication and collaboration skills are essential.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Three to five years of related professional experience
  • Highly proficient computer skills
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with broad range of constituents
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Desire and ability to establish cooperative and effective working relationships
  • Sound judgment and problem solving skills
  • Willingness to pitch in where needed (other duties as assigned)
