Job Summary

Coordinate annual giving programs by preparing work plans, tracking initiatives, and managing correspondence for the Director of Alumni and Annual Giving. Execute direct mail and email appeals, support online giving, and maintain campaign information while assisting with donor stewardship. Provide administrative and operational support for fundraising activities, including designing materials, coordinating events, and ensuring compliance with university advancement policies. Prepare reports, design marketing materials, and collaborate with campus partners to foster relationships with donors and prospects.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing
  • Ability to positively and professionally interact with donors and staff
  • Ability to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications
  • Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others
  • Ability to work outdoors on occasion exposed to various weather conditions, potential allergens, elevated noise levels, and heat
  • Ability to move light or medium objects with assistance
  • Ability to travel independently to other and/or remote locations by driving or taking commercial flights
  • This position does require work beyond normal office hours and/or work on weekends as needed
  • This position is security sensitive
  • This position will require export-control authorization prior to starting employment
  • This position requires compliance with state and federal laws/codes and Texas A&M University System/TAMU policies, regulations, rules, and procedures
  • All tasks and job responsibilities must be performed safely without injury to self or others in compliance with System and University safety requirements
  • Applicants are subject to a criminal history investigation, and employment is contingent upon the institution's verification of credentials and/or other information required by the institution's procedures, including the completion of the criminal history check

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience gained through internships, student employment, volunteer activities, or related work in administrative support, communications, customer service, project coordination, or nonprofit/higher education environments is preferred
  • Experience or coursework in marketing, communications, public relations, nonprofit advancement, higher education, or a related field
