Job Summary
Plan, market, and coordinate Alumni Reunion Weekend, Homecoming, and regional engagement events in collaboration with alumni volunteers and Annual Giving teams. Manage event logistics including room reservations, catering, audiovisual needs, vendor management, and on-site execution while overseeing student employee schedules and workflows. Execute clerical duties such as processing check requests, expense reimbursements, and event registration data entry into university databases. Create marketing collateral using Canva, update website content, and prepare materials for the Alumni Association Board meetings. Provide exceptional communication support by responding to internal and external requests, acting as the primary greeter for walk-in traffic, and maintaining department confidentiality.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent supplemented with two years of additional course work in related fields such as business, secretarial, computer software/word processing and spreadsheet programs including the ability to use database and Microsoft Office software programs.
- Three years of administrative support experience or related experience.
- Considerable knowledge of administrative procedures, word processing, spreadsheets, and database software programs.
- Working knowledge of higher education institutions.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills, and detail orientated with high accuracy.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines and work independently and with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.

- Possession of a valid Driver's License
- Satisfactory completion of a background check (including a criminal records check)
