Job Summary
Manage a mid-level donor portfolio of 300–500 donors by executing 75+ annual visits, building relationships through phone, email, and in-person meetings, and documenting all interactions in the CRM system. Cultivate annual giving revenue by developing tailored engagement strategies, overseeing the Sustainer Program, and managing Giving Societies to move donors into higher participation levels. Identify and qualify prospects for major gifts, collaborate with leadership on moves management, and track progress toward retention and revenue goals. Travel locally 25–40% of the time, with occasional evening or weekend work for donor events.
Required Qualifications
- Willingness to travel for donor visits
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times
- Evidence of spiritual growth and Christian commitment
- Active participation in a local church or ministry
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- Ability to manage a mid-level donor portfolio effectively
- Strong relational engagement skills (phone, email, virtual, and in-person)
- Ability to collaborate across Advancement team members
- Ability to identify and qualify prospects for major giving
- Proficiency in CRM/database systems (e.g., Raiser's Edge)
- Familiarity with donor segmentation and wealth screening tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to analyze giving trends and donor behavior
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet performance metrics
- Willingness to travel locally for donor visits – approximately 25-40% depending on portfolio
- Occasional evening or weekend work for events or donor engagement (estimated 1-2 times per month but depends on when a donor can meet)
Desired Qualifications
