Job Summary
Load and unload trays in the furnace and operate a forklift to move freight up to 70 lbs. Follow schedules to package products to customer requirements while performing quality checks based on control plans and determining conformance. Stop production immediately if the process produces nonconforming product or waste, then alert supervision and Quality. Assist with continuous improvement and cost savings initiatives while maintaining a clean work environment and following all safety regulations.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent experience in manufacturing environment
- Read and understand work instructions, including Load and Packing instructions
- Lift freight and other objects of various shapes, sizes and weights (up to 50 lbs. frequently and greater than 70 lbs. occasionally)
- Detail oriented
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively
- Positive demeanor, dependability, and strong work ethic
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with ERP systems, preferred
- Forklift knowledge and experience is a plus
