Job Summary

Deliver ABA intervention directly to children using naturalistic teaching, discrete trial training, and pivotal response training under BCBA supervision. Engage in daily parent communication, maintain client confidentiality, and apply constructive feedback while managing psychosocial aspects of chronic and acute conditions. Provide individual and family therapy and education to promote safety and mental health, collaborating with care providers to modify behavioral disorders and address long-term individual care goals. Work in the ASCI, child's home, or other locations to treat mental health issues related to autism, brain injuries, and developmental delays. Monitor progress, demonstrate knowledge of growth and development principles, and adapt to multiple environments with frequent interruptions.

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • National certification as Registered Behavioral Technician
  • Current BLS or obtains BLS within 30 days of hire
  • Ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of age appropriate patient needs
  • Ability to be adaptable in multiple environments
  • Corrected hearing and vision to normal range
  • Emotional stability
  • Ability to adapt, learn, and problem-solve
  • Flexibility in approaches to deal with stressful conditions and challenging patients and families in an outpatient care setting
  • Ability to lift children
  • Ability to run behind children
  • Ability to walk up and down a flight of stairs multiple times daily
  • Ability to bend, lift and push

Desired Qualifications

  • Psychology degree
  • Experience with young children on the autism spectrum
