Job Summary
Provide safe, high-quality patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in a 24/7 operating room environment. Coordinate care across departments to support optimal patient outcomes and serve as a clinical resource offering guidance to nursing staff. Assist with daily operations including patient flow, staffing, unit goals, and process improvement initiatives. Support staff onboarding, education, and competency development while promoting effective communication among the care team. Serve as charge nurse as assigned and participate in committees as needed. This leadership opportunity supports RN3 operational responsibilities within Harborview's high-acuity surgical team.
Required Qualifications
- Washington State Registered Nurse license or valid Multistate license
- Two or more years of perioperative experience
- Charge nurse experience or other demonstrated leadership experience
