Job Summary
Anly Clinical Developer responsible for requirements analysis for grouping, editing, and reimbursement components; deliver quarterly release goals; interpret requirements from federal/state agencies; document specifications in DOORS; review requirements with product engineers and QA; collaborate with component engineers on software modifications; and support internal teams with escalated customer issues. The role requires health-care–related CS experience (3+ years), knowledge of ICD-9/10, HCPCS/CPT coding, groupers (MS-DRG, APC, APR), billing/claims adjudication, and familiarity with Medicare/Medicaid payment methodologies. Work is remote with up to 5% travel; relocation not provided. Educational and experience prerequisites include a bachelor’s or higher in a health/administrative field and 4 years of related experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor or higher in Health Information Management, Business Administration, Hospital Administration or related field
- Four (4) years of experience
- 3+ years of healthcare related computer science experience
- Knowledge of ICD-9, ICD-10, HCPCS/CPT coding practices
- Understanding of medical grouping, editing, and coding (MS-DRG, APC, APR)
- Experience with billing, claims adjudication, and patient accounting
