Job Summary
Conduct psychiatric diagnostics, determine treatment policies, and perform acute crisis assessments across diverse Amsterdam locations including the emergency room, home visits, and four crisis teams. Guide intensive treatments and detoxifications while managing medical correspondence and collaborating with police, ambulance services, and general practitioners. Rotate approximately 50% of shifts outside standard office hours alongside regular daytime duties within a multidisciplinary team. Receive intensive guidance from experienced psychiatrists and participate in regular training on systemic work, personality disorders, addiction, and suicidality. This emergency psychiatry role offers rapid skill development through varied clinical scenarios and 24/7 acute care delivery.
