Job Summary
Perform kenneling of dogs and cats delivered to the shelter using catchpoles and squeeze traps. Provide food, water, grooming, and bathing for housed animals while administering medications as directed. Clean cages, kennels, and transport carriers. Meet visitors, answer public inquiries, and respond to citizen complaints. Works with all types of animals in enclosed areas. This entry-level weekend position includes Saturday, Sunday, and a Monday or Friday shift for Davis County Animal Care in Fruit Heights, Utah.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Part-time position with a weekend schedule (Saturday & Sunday plus a Monday or Friday shift)
