Animal Services Officer (Animal Services)

The Animal Services Officer is responsible for enforcing the City's animal ordinances and state laws, investigating animal cruelty cases, managing strays and abandoned animals, eradicating nuisance wildlife, and educating the public on animal care and ownership laws. Essential duties include providing care to animals, responding to complaints about dangerous animals, issuing citations, and performing clerical tasks. Candidates should have at least a high school education, 12-18 months of related experience, and must obtain necessary certifications.
